Ts&Cs Do you charge a travel fee?
The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking.
This is to include, should it be required, congestion charging and parking charges.
Travel within a 15 mile radius of Swindon will not be subject to any charges. Mileage outside of this radius is charged at a rate of £0.45 per mile.
Do you have a minimum booking requirement?
From May-October it’s a minimum booking of either-
3 hair and makeups (bride plus 2)
Or 4 hair/4 makeups
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Cancellations for secured appointments will incur the following charges:
Less than 2 weeks notice: 100% Charge will apply
Less than 6 weeks notice: 50% Charge will apply
Over 6 weeks notice: No further charges will apply excluding the deposit already paid
In the event of the wedding being postponed, all reasonable attempts will be made by Myself to accommodate the new booking arrangements made by the Client. However, if for any reason I am not able to accommodate the new arrangements this will be considered a cancellation and the above charges will apply.
Do you have back-up coverage in case you have an emergency or are sick on the day?
I have a great network of hair and makeup artists, and I will endeavour to find an alternative hair and makeup artist, if I am unable to attend. If I unable to find an alternative a full refund will be given.
When and where do you typically conduct trials?
Trials usually take place at your house or chosen venue (travel costs will incur if outside of a 15 mile radius) I am also more than happy for you to come to my house in Swindon.
When is payment required?
A 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure the date. The trial payment is due on the day of the trial, with the remaining balance to be paid 2 weeks before the wedding day.
